Clarification to the New Eligibility From and Through Date Fields

We first told you about the FISS DDE screen changes that were implemented with the October 2020 quarterly system release in an article that was sent in an electronic email on September 17, 2020. This quarterly release added the ELIG FROM and ELIG THRU fields to the Inquiry Menu option 10 (Beneficiary/CWF) screen, MAP1751.

To clarify, dates must be entered in the ELIG FROM and ELIG THRU date fields. For the ELIG FROM date, enter the date of service. For the ELIG THRU date, enter the through date of service or the current date. If the fields are left blank or the dates are invalid, the reason codes 4U037 and 4U038 will display.

In addition, the ELIG FROM DATE and ELIG THRU DATE fields were also added to the Common Working File (CWF) Part A Eligibility System screen. As with the MAP1751 fields, enter the date of service in the ELIG FROM DATE field and enter the through date of service or the current date in the ELIG FROM DATE field.
