Providers Making a Difference!

Thank you to those who took a few minutes to complete our survey; YOU made a difference!  CGS made several improvements in the past year in response to your feedback.  Below are just a few of the highlights.

myCGS Portal

  • We added a note to the Welcome to myCGS screen reminding users to allow up to 15 minutes to receive the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) code and that the code you receive can be used for up to 12 hours. CGS didn’t stop there!  We upgraded the MFA process to provide the MFA code at a much faster speed from the 15 minutes to 0.0015 seconds!!
  • We re-designed the myCGS Manual to make all information more accessible without having to navigate to different documents.  Just click on the link on the left that corresponds with the myCGS tabs.
  • You can now access the MFA code using the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. A new way to gain access to myCGS!
  • myCGS Account Linking was recently introduced.  It allows you to combine multiple User IDs under one Master (default) ID.  From your master ID, you can select one of your linked accounts to perform functions available to you under that PTAN/NPI.
  • Part B providers now have a way to submit claims inquiries via the myCGS portal with the new e-Claims Inquiry form.
  • We are in the process of redesigning the current mailbox in myCGS with new added filtering options for a better user experience. 

J15 Website

  • Mobile Optimization was implemented to improve the experience for mobile users by allowing greater use of available space, enhanced readability, and a more accessible menu structure.
  • CGS implemented a new COVID-19 web page which is accessible from the left side menu.  This provides various resources and the most recent news about COVID-19, including guidance for vaccinations and antibody infusions.
  • The Part A, Part B and Home Health and Hospice (HHH) Appeals/Redeterminations web pages were recently redesigned.  For example, check out the Part B 1st Level of Appeal – Redetermination web page where all the information you need to know about Redeterminations is available.
  • CGS has developed several new Self-Service Options to help you do your job more efficiently.  Check it out!
