CGS has implemented changes to the Part A, Part B, and Home Health and Hospice (HHH) IVR system prompts to provide you more information.  Please review the changes below and share with your appropriate staff.

Beneficiary Information (Preventative HCPCS)

  • Part A and HHH IVR – After you press 2 for Beneficiary Information, and then press 6 for Hepatitis B and Preventive HCPCS Code information, the IVR will now provide Pneumococcal Pneumonia Vaccination (PPV) HCPCS codes (90670 and 90732) including the dates of service and associated National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Part B IVR – After you press 2 for Eligibility & Deductible Information, and then press 6 (Hepatitis B and Preventive HCPCS Code) and then press 2 (Preventive HCPCS), the IVR will now provide PPV HCPCS codes (90670 and 90732) including the dates of service and associated National Provider Identifier (NPI).

This will assist providers to determine if the beneficiary already received either or both vaccines, as well as when, and from which provider.
