Beneficiary Eligibility Enhancements to myCGS
We are pleased to announce several enhancements to various eligibility inquiries in myCGS!
MBI Look-Up Tool
When using the MBI Look-Up Tool to obtain a Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) for a deceased beneficiary, myCGS will now look back up to four years of the date of death. Check here for step-by-step instructions on using the MBI Look-Up Tool.
Inpatient Spell Dates
myCGS will now display the start/end dates and billing National Provider Identifier (NPI) for inpatient hospital and skilled nursing facility (SNF) stays. Each type of stay is now listed separately, allowing you to easily find the information you need.
Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB)
For your dual-eligible Medicare/Medicaid patients, myCGS now provides details of inpatient hospital and SNF stays under the QMB sub-tab. Additional information on the QMB program is available here.
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Screening
Under the Preventive sub-tab, you now have access to the date beneficiaries with a female gender code are next eligible to receive the HPV screening (HCPCS code G0476) for cervical cancer.
Home Health Patient Status
Need help determining if a patient is in a current home health episode? The patient’s current status, which will identify if they were discharged or still a patient, will now display in myCGS. Information is available once it has been reported through the patient’s master record.
