Happy Holidays! Gifts from myCGS!

You asked, and we delivered. Based on your survey feedback, we deployed the following updates in the myCGS portal on Friday, December 17, 2021:

  • Recertification – Did you know recertification is now only required every 360 days rather than every 90 days? We added a banner to remind you of the great news!
  • Eligibility – “Suggestion: myCGS is always talked about at the end of the call. It is a great tool. However, if the eligibility screens were able to print into one pdf, it would be an even better tool!” We agreed and added an option to print all beneficiary eligibility information and deductible by spell at once.
  • Preventive Services – We want everyone to take advantage of the preventive services available to beneficiaries. So, we added the HCPCS code descriptions to the list of covered services and date information. Now you can see exactly what services are available without looking up a code.
  • Messages – We received several comments regarding the number of messages received. We noticed that messages were being delivered at the PTAN level rather than the NPI. So, we changed it to deliver messages to the NPI level only, reducing the number of unwanted messages. If your accounts are linked, you can easily switch between NPIs to receive additional messages.
