Revised January 2021 HCPCS Updates – New and Revised HCPCS Codes
The following information is based on the January 2021 Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) File and subsequent corrections from CMS that were not included in the first publication of article. The majority of HCPCS code updates became effective January 1, 2021. However, the two subsequent corrections from CMS were for the descriptions for HCPCS codes L8701 and L8702, which are retroactive to October 1, 2020. Please keep in mind, the appearance of a HCPCS code is not an indication of coverage by the DME MAC.
The first listing contains HCPCS Codes that are added effective January 01, 2021.
