myCGS will be Unavailable beginning at 5:00 PM CT on November 1 as Version 5.6 is Installed

myCGS Version 5.6 will be installed on Friday, November 1, beginning at 5:00 pm Central Time. myCGS will be unavailable during the installation. If you are using myCGS when the installation activities begin, you will be automatically logged out. The portal will be available again on Saturday, November 2; however, eligibility inquiries and the MBI Lookup Tool will continue to be unavailable until 12:00 noon CT on November 2, as CMS has scheduled outages to both the HETS eligibility system and the Medicare MBI Lookup Tool during that time.

Version 5.6 will include an enhancement to hospice inquiries in myCGS. Beginning with version 5.6, myCGS will return all hospice episodes that appear in the beneficiary’s records within 16 months of the date of service submitted in your request.
