myCGS 7.2—Now Coming November 15
myCGS 7.2 introduces a new and improved registration and recertification process that makes it easier and faster to register as a new user. This update also offers major improvements to how Designated Approvers manage users within the portal.
The new registration process will do away with the existing myCGS® Approver Designation Form and Recertification Form, replacing these forms with a streamlined process built directly into myCGS®.
We will release more specific details soon, but right now all users need to be aware of the following updated* timeline of events during this transition.
- November 5: Last day to submit a myCGS® Approver Designation Form or Recertification Form.
- November 12, BEFORE 4 pm CT: Deadline for completing existing registration and recertification requests.
- November 12, AFTER 4 pm CT: myCGS® 7.2 installation begins and myCGS® is unavailable.
- November 15: myCGS® 7.2 is available with new registration and recertification processes in place. The myCGS Registration and Account Management Guide will be updated.
*NOTE: myCGS® 7.2 was originally scheduled for implementation on October 4, however, in order to ensure a seamless implementation, we have delayed the upgrade as shown in the dates above.
