A Message from CGS DME Jurisdiction B Regarding COVID-19
CGS has received many questions from providers regarding the impact COVID-19 has on CGS Medicare Administrative Contracts (MACs). We want to assure you CGS is prepared to provide the same level of service you have come to expect from us during this national crisis. Our priority is our employees, and the Medicare providers and families we serve.
Here are a few ways we are working to meet your needs:
- Customer Service – We are available to take your calls during normal business hours and are assuring phone coverage remains available. Contact information can be found here.
- Claims – We are processing and paying claims. Monitor our Claim Payment Alerts Page for any claims processing issues that could cause delay.
- Educational Events – Provider Outreach and Education is continuing to educate providers. Although we are not able to meet in person, all events will be held via webinar to ensure you remain informed on the Medicare program.
- Website updates – We have created a dedicated web page with all information from CMS related to COVID-19. The page is available from the Hot Topics list, Browse By Topic page, and from the COVID-19 link in the left side navigation menu. This page is updated daily as new information is released. Please continue to monitor this page for updates.
- Electronic Mailing – As information is being released rapidly, we are dedicated to distributing updates to our providers. Please ensure all staff receive updates by registering for our electronic mailing lists here.
- Our Self-Service tools are a great way to find information you need quickly. Log into myCGS to look up patient's Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI), check claim status, and more!
We understand that this is a challenging time for our providers and want to ensure you have the tools and resources needed to care for our beneficiaries. We are dedicated to making a positive IMPACT during this time and always.
