Workshop Agenda:
- Medicare Updates: This session will include the most recent changes to the Medicare program. We will discuss recent LCD updates on equipment categories, elimination of the CMN and DIF forms, and more.
- Documentation Requirements: This session will take a foundational approach reviewing documentation requirements of standard written orders, proof of delivery, and Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage (ABNs) to ensure DME suppliers have accurate processes in place to decrease potential errors.
- Medicare Claims Processing Tips and Hints: This session will thoroughly explain how to navigate the claim submission process as well as a review of the top claim submission errors and resolutions. We will review step-by-step instruction of why, when, how, and where to successfully reopen or appeal a claim denial as well as the top reasons for dismissals and non-affirmations. The instructor will provide helpful hints, tools, and links to make Medicare claim processing easier for you and your staff!
- Interactive Review: You won’t want to miss this engaging session! The speakers have incorporated a new interactive learning tool. This will be a fast, fun, interactive recap of the lessons learned throughout the day.

DME Workshop Refund Policy
For all CGS scheduled educational events where a charge is applied, the fee is used to offset the cost of the meeting room and equipment rental. In the event you must cancel your registration, you may do so up to 10 business days prior to the educational event and receive a full refund. If you need to cancel less than 10 business days prior to the event, you will be eligible to receive a partial refund. We encourage you to send a substitute from your organization when possible.
Please note: Medicare reserves the right to cancel an event if registration is insufficient. If we must cancel due to lack of participation, we will notify all registrants at least 48 hours before the date of the event and return the fee for that cancelled event.
