myCGS 11.4 is now available!
CGS has released myCGS 11.4 as part of our ongoing work to improve the services we provide to our suppliers. This update includes improvements to the Redeterminations Status page, updates to the Form Submission screens, the addition of Redeterminations and Reopenings letters to eLetters, and several other enhancements.
Redeterminations Status:
You can now look up the status of a redetermination even if you don’t have the Document Control Number (DCN) or Claim Control Number (CCN).
To search using the beneficiary’s information:
- Select the Beneficiary Information radio button
- Enter the beneficiary’s information
- Enter the date of service
- Click Submit

Redeterminations Request Process
Do you need to make a simple claim correction or start an overpayment request?
A new pop‑up on the Redetermination Request Screen will help guide you to the right form.

There is now a “Select All” option on the Redeterminations Request Summary!

Here are a few more improvements!
- The Redetermination Request Form now shows all the information you entered, including claim lines, dates of service, HCPCS codes and modifiers, the CCN, and any good‑cause reason you provided.
- After you submit a Redetermination Request, the confirmation page will now show the reason you entered for the request.
- If you try to submit a duplicate Redetermination or Reopening request, you will now get an error message:
- For Redeterminations: “A prior Redetermination request was submitted for this claim. Check Redeterminations Status for more information.”
- For Reopenings: “A prior Reopenings request was submitted for this claim. Check Reopenings Status for more information.”
Advanced Determination of Medicare Coverage (ADMC):
The ADMC Submission Form now includes an interactive checklist that shows the recommended supporting documents based on the HCPCS code you select as the base equipment.

After you submit your ADMC request, the confirmation screen will now display a summary of your request, including the documents you provided.
Other Updates:
- The eLetters Inbox now includes Redeterminations and Reopenings letters, along with ADR, ADMC, and Prior Authorization letters. You will also, eventually, begin receiving email alerts when new letters are available in myCGS.*
*NOTE: Email notifications are not turned on yet. We will let you know when they become available. - CHBA users were receiving the Prior Authorization exemption error and were not given the option to send a Prior Authorization request. This issue has been fixed! If you cannot submit a request, and you have opted out of the Prior Authorization exemption, please contact Customer Support for your jurisdiction.
- Some users were seeing a “No claim on file” error when trying to submit an Overpayment Recovery Request. This has now been fixed!
- Some users were occasionally getting a “multiple browsers are not permitted” error after being logged out. This issue has also been resolved!
We hope these changes help improve your experience as you continue to use the myCGS DME Web Portal!
