myCGS 8.2 Brings More Improvements to Prior Authorization Smart Submission and More!
myCGS 8.2 is now available! In this version, we've made some enhancements to Prior Authorization Smart Submission (PASS) screen, as well as a number of other changes and fixes as detailed below.
Enhancements
- Prior Authorization Smart Submission (PASS) for Lower Limb Prosthetics has been updated so that multiple HCPCS codes can be selected for submission on one request. When you choose Lower Limb Prosthetics as your Program Category in PASS, select your HCPCS code from the Base Equipment dropdown list, and then press the "Add" button. Repeat this process to add more HCPCS codes. Once you've added all the HCPCS codes you need, press the "Next" button to continue.
- PASS for Orthotics has been updated so that up to three HCPCS codes can be selected for submission on one request. When you choose Orthotics as your Program Category in PASS, select your HCPCS code from the Base Equipment dropdown list, and then press the "Add" button. Repeat this process to add more HCPCS codes. Once you've added up to three HCPCS codes, press the "Next" button to continue.
- The "Helpful Links" page (found in the News & Information menu) has been updated to include links to other websites that you may find useful (such as CEDI, PDAC, CERT, etc.).
Additional Changes and Fixes
- Corrected an issue in which myCGS was unable to find some beneficiaries who have cross-referenced HICNs.
- Prior Authorization Status now excludes records that have been deleted. Previously deleted records were being displayed, which may have caused confusion.
- Corrected an issue in which myCGS was not displaying related accessories on the Prior Authorization Status screen.
- Updated multiple hyperlinks within myCGS that go to our website with new/corrected URLs.
- Corrected an issue in which Prior Authorization Status was displaying base codes but not displaying related accessories.
- Fixed an issue which could cause the Claim Correction button to incorrectly state that the claim must be submitted to Redeterminations.
- Reopening Status was not displaying valid Reopening requests that were in certain statuses. This has been corrected.
