EDI: A New Look & a New Self-Service Tool
As part of our ongoing commitment to make Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes simple, clear, and accessible for the Medicare community, we revised our EDI webpages and added an EDI Enrollment Guide.
EDI Webpages
To help you easily navigate to the information you need, content is organized into 3 categories:
- EDI Enrollment (applications, forms, and instructions)
- EDI Resources (companion guides and educational materials)
- Software (PC-ACE Pro32 and electronic remittance advice)
You can access these subheadings from the left navigation menu or on the main EDI webpage:
- J15 HHH Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- J15 Part A Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- J15 Part B Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
EDI Enrollment Guide
This interactive self-service tool guides new Medicare providers through the EDI enrollment process required to initiate EDI transactions.
As you respond to each question, the decision tree clearly outlines the next step required in the process and directs you to the correct applications and resources.
A link to the EDI Enrollment Guide is located at the top of the main EDI webpage. Look for: New to Medicare? Start your EDI Enrollment.

- Part A EDI Enrollment Guide
- Part B EDI Enrollment Guide
We encourage all providers and trading partners to explore and become familiar with these enhancements. Thank you for your continued partnership and dedication to exceptional service.
