“New to myCGS” - Administrator Unlock Feature

CGS is pleased to announce that a new feature will be available on March 1, 2019.

If you are a myCGS Provider Administrator, you will have the ability to unlock users and additional Provider Administrators from the administrator screen when they have been locked out after three unsuccessful attempts within a 120 minute time span. The following message will display when the user is locked out:

Your myCGS account access has been locked due to excessive bad login attempts. To request an account unlock please contact your Account Administrator. If you are the only Account Administrator for your organization, please contact CGS Customer Support.

This new feature means that you will no longer have to contact our myCGS Help Desk to unlock your account. If there is only one Provider Administrator for your organization, you will continue to call the myCGS Help Desk for assistance with password unlocks.

CGS suggests there be at least two Provider Administrators established for each provider office (PTAN/NPI combination) to be responsible for creating, deleting and granting permission to additional myCGS users (Provider Users) related to that PTAN/NPI combination.

For more information, please refer to the myCGS User Manual.
