Obtaining Offset Information
To obtain details on an overpayment, you are reminded that our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system is a great resource. To obtain offset information:
- Call the IVR at 1.866.290.4036
- Select option 3 (financial information) from the main menu
- Select option 4 to obtain offset information
- When prompted, you will need to enter the Financial Control Number (FCN) of the original overpaid claim. The FCN is located on the Medicare Remittance Advice.
The IVR will provide:
- The patient account number
- Date(s) of service
- Line by line detailed information of the overpaid claim
