Kentucky Severe Weather
Secretary Becerra used his authority in the Public Health Service Act to declare a public health emergency (PHE) on August 2, 2022, giving us the flexibility to support our beneficiaries in Kentucky, effective August 4, 2022.
2020
Coronavirus
Secretary Azar used his authority in the Public Health Service Act to declare a public health emergency (PHE) in the entire United States on January 31, 2020 giving us the flexibility to support our beneficiaries, effective January 27, 2020.
