Adjustments Initiated to Correct Remittance Advice that Received PR45 in Error

CGS identified a system issue where certain claim lines received a PR45 denial instead of a CO45 on the initial claim determination. Once the system issue was corrected, a mass adjustment was performed to correct the Remittance Advice for the affected claims. In correcting the Remittance Advice (PR45), another issue was identified on the adjustment claim—initially allowed claim lines for PAP/RAD accessories and supplies were now denying. We are currently identifying and correcting these adjustment claims. You do not need to take any action at this time—if you received one of these incorrect denials, your claim will be adjusted. Over 95% of the affected claims have already been adjusted, with the rest expected to be completed within the next few days.
