Keep Your myCGS Account Active—Log in at Least Once a Month!

If you’re a myCGS user, it’s important that you log in to myCGS at least once per month in order to keep your account active. Why is this necessary? Last November we implemented the latest version of CMS’ required security rules, including a requirement that inactive accounts are suspended after 30 days of inactivity and deactivated after 90 days.

Although many of our myCGS users are active in the portal every day, some users only need myCGS from time to time. If you fall into the latter category, it’s important to remember that you must log in at least once per month to keep your account active—we suggest that you set up a monthly reminder on your calendar to make sure you remember to log in. Note that in order to qualify as an active login, you must successfully complete the entire myCGS login process, including use of your MFA code.
