myCGS Designated Approver (DA) Registration Tips
The first step in getting your organization registered for myCGS must be completed by your organization's Authorized Official (AO) or Delegated Official (DO).
- The supplier's Authorized Official (AO) or Delegated Official (DO) enrolled in PECOS assigns a Designated Approver (DA) who is responsible for approving and managing other Users for the supplier in myCGS.
- Choosing a Designated Approver(s) (DA)
- The first person to register in myCGS for any supplier must be the Designated Approver (DA).
- Reference the myCGS Registration Guide
- No other users for your company can use myCGS until the DA has been registered and approved.
- The AO/DO may designate themselves as a DA.
- There is not a limit to the number of DAs a supplier can have.
- Always consider designating more than one DA (at least two; more if you have multiple locations).
- Select persons who are dependable, accessible and available for your team members who will be registering and using myCGS.
- Ensure the person(s) you choose as DAs understand how myCGS registration and user maintenance works.
- All users must log in to myCGS at least once every 30 days to retain/maintain your user access.
- If you are not a frequent user; we suggest setting a calendar reminder to log in to myCGS.
- If you do not log in for 90 consecutive days your account will be deactivated, and you will be required to re-register.
- All users (AO/DO, DA, End Users, CHBA) must recertify for myCGS every 90 days; failure to do so will result in user inactivation.
- To designate a Designated Approver (DA), the AO/DO must complete the myCGS Approver Designation Form
- The completed and signed myCGS Approver Designation form must be faxed to us at 1.615.664.5994.
- If you do not have the ability to fax; you can mail the form:
