DON'T WAIT: Recertify Your Home Health and Hospice FISS DDE User ID Today!
Each year, Medicare providers are required to recertify their Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) Direct Data Entry (DDE) user access. It is important that you review the information under the “What You Need to Do” heading and take action now. Failure to recertify by September 30, 2017 will result in the termination of FISS DDE/PPTN services.
NOTE: Only 2,031 user out of 3,466 home health and hospice FISS DDE users have been recertified.
What You Need to Do
- Complete the Annual DDE PPTN Recertification Form
as soon as possible. Verify all User IDs, indicate if the User ID is active or inactive, and include an authorized signature, contact email, and phone number.
Note: This form is not used to add new users, delete users, or to update current users. To add, delete, or update User ID information, you must complete an Online Inquiry Services
form.
- FAX the Annual DDE PPTN Recertification Form as soon as possible to CGS at: 1.615.664.5947
Hospice Providers: Please be aware that failure to recertify your FISS DDE access will result in the termination of your DDE User ID. This may cause untimely filing of your hospice Notices of Election (NOEs) and an exception may not be granted.
If you have any questions concerning the recertification process, please contact the CGS J15 EDI department at 1.877.299.4500 and select Option 2.
