Medicare Credit Balance Quarterly Reminder
This is a reminder to submit the Quarterly Medicare Credit Balance Report. The next report is due in our office postmarked by July 30, 2017, for the quarter ending June 30, 2017. A Medicare credit balance is an amount determined to be refundable to the Medicare program for an improper or excess payment made to a provider because of patient billing or claims processing errors.
Each provider must submit a quarterly Medicare Credit Balance Report (CMS-838) and certification for each individual PTAN.
NOTE: Please do not submit duplicate Credit Balance Reports. To ensure CGS has received your report, consider using the website portal myCGS to submit your report. myCGS provides instant confirmation of receipt and allows you to check the status. For details, refer to:

Submitting your CBR using certified mail, or other methods that require a signature upon delivery is also an option.
