How do I check the status of an Appeal?

You can check the status of your redetermination (1st level of appeal) through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system at 1.877.220.6289 or through the myCGS website portal. If you have additional questions after checking your status contact the Home Health and Hospice Provider Contact Center at 1.877.299.4500.

  • myCGS – When you submit a redetermination request using myCGS, a tracking number will be assigned and myCGS will show "Secure Form Confirmation" along with the Submission ID number. You can get the status of the appeal by entering the Submission ID, in the "Get Status" field under the "Messages" tab. Click the "Get Status" button, and enter the Submission ID number, then click submit.
