Latency Issues with Using Email for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Latency issues have been identified when providers are using the email option to receive the code to access the myCGS Portal. CGS is actively researching this issue.

CGS is reminding providers that the ‘Text’ option is another way to receive their verification code to access the myCGS Portal.

Instructions are below:

Changing your MFA Notification Method from ‘Email’ to ‘Text’

To change your MFA delivery option to ‘text’:

A text message will be generated with the numbers to key in the appropriate field. Key the numbers from the generated text message and you will be allowed access to the myCGS Portal.

NOTE: Ensure the mobile carrier information is correct, or the text will not be delivered.
