Responding to Medical Review Additional Documentation Requests through myCGS

myCGS, our secure online web portal, will allow you to submit documentation in response to additional documentation requests (ADRs) received from our medical review (MR) department.

While this function is available to all J15 Part A, Part B and Home Health and Hospice (HHH) providers, it is important that ADR responses are submitted to the correct line of business (LOB) using the myCGS ID specific to the LOB.

For example, providers enrolled as both Medicare Part A and Part B providers must register for separate Part A and Part B myCGS User IDs. To respond to an ADR received for a Part A claim, you must use your Part A myCGS User ID. Part B responses must be sent using your Part B myCGS User ID.

Doing this will ensure that all ADR responses are correctly indexed to the pended claim under the correct LOB.

If you have questions regarding this issue, please refer to the LOB-specific myCGS user manual.
