Provider Outreach and Education Advisory Group
CGS invites interested parties to participate in our Jurisdiction 15 Part A Provider Outreach and Education (POE) Advisory Group. The primary function of the Advisory Group is to assist us in the creation, implementation, and review of provider education strategies and efforts. Members provide input and feedback on training topics, provider education materials, and dates and locations of provider education workshops and events. The group also identifies widespread provider education needs and assists us in developing solutions and sharing information.
The Part A POE Advisory Group meets quarterly, in person and/or via teleconference. Meeting agendas are distributed prior to each meeting, and minutes are posted our Web site.
Our members include representatives from various facility types, professional and medical associations, and billing and patient account managers. We encourage representation from across the jurisdiction from medical and professional organizations and health care facilities of all types.
