The primary function of the Advisory Group is to assist CGS in creating, reviewing and implementing provider education strategies and efforts. Non-Advisory Group members can be involved and provide input into the education that CGS conducts by contacting an Advisory Group member and suggesting educational ideas and topics.
The Advisory Group is composed of various representatives, including professional associations, providers and their staff, and encompasses both rural and urban geographic locations. Group membership selection varies dependent on the provider type.
